Gameloft announced that three of its games will be made compatible with the newly announced Google Play game services from Google. Gameloft's FPS, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is the first Gameloft title to receive these new features, and is available from May 15, 2013 on the Google Play store. Dungeon Hunter 4 and Asphalt 7: Heat will also be updated with Game Services in the coming weeks. Google I/O attendees can get a first glimpse of the new versions of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour and Asphalt 7: Heat on the show floor. The two titles, with Google Play game services integration, will be showcased at a Gameloft kiosk during the event.

GameLoft SA reported sales results for the first quarter of 2013. For the quarter, the company reported sales of EUR 54.2 million compared to EUR 44.8 million a year ago. Sales continue to be driven by the worldwide success of Gameloft games on smartphones and tablets. Gameloft's first-quarter sales on smartphones and tablets grew by 71% year on year. They represented 60% of total Group sales compared with 43% in the first quarter of 2012. The company reiterates its guidance of growth in 2013 in terms of sales, profitability and net cash.
