The company’s Professional & Technical Services segment provides training, consulting, engineering, and technical services, including lean consulting, emergency preparedness, safety and regulatory compliance, chemical demilitarization, and environmental services to the manufacturing, steel, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries; federal and state government agencies; and large government contractors. Its Sandy Training & Marketing segment offers custom product sales training to customer sales forces; and technical training services to automotive manufacturers and customers in other industries, as well as facilitates customer relationship marketing strategy assessment and performance measurement. The company’s Performance Readiness Solutions segment provides performance consulting and technology consulting services, including platform adoption, end-user training, change management, knowledge management, customer product training outsourcing, and sales enablement solutions to manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, financial, telecommunications, services, and higher education industries, as well as the public sector. PPanda Power Funds Selects GP Strategies Corporation for Monitoring and Training at Combined Cycle Power Plants

GP Strategies Corporation was selected by Panda Power Funds to provide instructor-led training and GPiLEARN(TM) web-based training at three of their new natural gas power plants: one in Sherman and two plants in Temple, Texas. In addition, Panda Power Funds chose GP Strategies' EtaPRO(TM) technologies for performance and condition monitoring at those plants. The Sherman and Temple plants are expected to be among the most efficient, rapid-start combined cycle power plants in Texas. The Temple plants will have the combined capacity to generate 1516 megawatts of power and the Sherman plant will have the capacity to generate 758 megawatts of power using the latest, most advanced emissions-control technology, making them some of the cleanest and most efficient natural gas-fueled power plants in the nation. To support this innovative technology, the new plants require a well-trained workforce and advanced equipment monitoring systems to ensure the higher level of performance is achieved. GP Strategies was selected to help drive these performance initiatives at the Sherman and Temple I & II power generating stations.
