Great Atlantic Resources Corp. Receives Assay Results from Three Holes of Drilling on the Keymet Gold - Lead Zinc Silver, Property, Located in the Mining District of Bathurst New Brunswick

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. announced that it has received assay results from three holes of drilling on the Keymet Gold - Lead Zinc Silver, property, located in the mining district of Bathurst New Brunswick. The Keymet Property consists of 162 mineral claims comprising 6,480 acres situated in the historic Bathurst Region of New Brunswick and hosts a former producing Silver-Lead-Zinc mine that was burnt to the ground in the early stages of its life, never to be recapitalized. Great Atlantic's focus will be on the new gold discovery that was trenched open in winter of 2012. A total of three holes were drilled totaling 192 meters. The targeted shear zone structure was intersected in the drill core but was not mineralized to same degree as observed on surface. A total of 22 core samples over three mineralized zones were sampled over lengths of 8, 12 and 4 meters. Core was analyzed by ALS Canada Ltd. in North Vancouver by 33 element four acid ICP-AES. Gold results ranged from <0.005 to 0.082 ppm over the mineralized zones which are considerably lower than assays received from surface trenching and float samples.

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. Provides Update on Keymet Gold Project

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. announced that it has completed three holes of drilling on the Keymet Gold - Lead Zinc Silver, property, located in the mining district of Bathurst New Brunswick. In 2011, Great Atlantic prospectors made a gold discovery while investigating Lead-Zinc-Silver (Pb-Zn-Ag) bearing structures in the northern part of the e property extending from the Keymet mine workings. Numerous, large boulders of silicified wacke and intraformational conglomerate containing 2 to 5% disseminated "needle" arsenopyrite were discovered in an area known, based on historical exploration work, to contain structurally controlled Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization. The first two holes were completed in the area that was trenched and 12 m and 8 m of pyrite and minor arseno pyrite was intersected in holes one and two, the third hole was a 25 meter step out hole to address the strike length of the zone, the zone seemed to pinch and a intersection of four meters of pyrite and minor arseno pyrite was seen in core.

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. Commences Drilling on the Keymet Gold Project

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. announced that it has commenced drilling on the Keymet Gold - Lead Zinc Silver, property, located in the mining district of Bathurst New Brunswick. The Keymet Property consists of 162 mineral claims comprising 6,480 acres situated in the historic Bathurst Region of New Brunswick and hosts a former producing Silver-Lead-Zinc mine that was burnt to the ground in the early stages of its life, never to be recapitalized. The property has significant exploration upside for both high grade vein systems and lower grade bulk mineable mineralization in Gold, Lead Zinc and Silver. Great Atlantic's focus will be on the new gold discovery that was trenched open in winter of 2012. Two new gold discoveries have been recently made by Great Atlantic's prospectors. The first is in outcrop 300 meters to the south west of the Keymet shaft where a 2 meter wide quartz-arsenopyrite (20% arsenopyrite) filled shear zone, which appears to be a splay fault off of the main Keymet shear, assayed 3.4 grams per tonne (gpt) Au. The second new discovery was made approximately 1,500 meters to the north west of the Keymet Shaft while investigating a series of historic Cu/Zn soil anomalies. In this area numerous large, angular boulders of silicified conglomerate and meta-wacke were found that contained 1- 2% disseminated "needle" arsenopyrite. These boulders have been traced over a distance of 450 meters and appear to be aligned sub parallel to the strike of the Keymet vein system. No base metals are associated with this new showing which indicates that this is possibly a separate but parallel gold bearing zone within the overall Keymet base metal/silver vein system. Initial analysis indicates that the boulders run between 1.7 gpt to 51.0 gpt Au. The Company's geologists have taken grab samples from the dump rock at the Keymet shaft and a typical Pb/Zn sample from the ore dump ran 549 gpt Ag, 2.35% Cu, 33.90% Pb and 22.90% Zn. A specimen of massive pyrite with stringer chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite and arsenopyrite assayed 415 gpt Ag, 4.22% Cu, 1.23% Pb, and 1.48% Zn. A 3D model of the underground workings has been put together based on historic level plans and sections. Based on historic geophysical and geochemical data, there is good evidence that a series of three and possibly four, parallel vein systems occur on the property. These are the North, Central, Keymet, and South veins.
