The company offers its products under the HunterDouglas, Luxaflex, Duette, Silhouette, Vignette, Pirouette, Luminette, Enduris, Platinum, Facette, QuadroClad, Luxalon, and 3form brand names. Further, it engages in trading metals, primarily in contracts on bulk metals. For the quarter, sales were 2.2% lower to USD 580.9 million compared with USD 594.1 million in first quarter of 2012. EBITDA was USD 34.5 million, compared with USD 35.2 million in first quarter of 2012. Income from operations was USD 12.1 million compared with USD 11.3 million in first quarter of 2012. Results were better in North America, Asia and Australia and lower in Europe and Latin America. Total net result was USD 10.4 million or EUR 0.23 per share compared with USD 21.5 million or EUR 0.46 per share in first quarter of 2012.
