Mecom Group plc (LSE:MEC) is to merge with Telegraaf Media Groep NV (ENXTAM:TMG) reportedly. Aviva Investors Global Services Limited, Aberforth Partners LLP, JO Hambro Capital Management Limited and Legal & General Investment Management, who collectively own more than 50% stake in Mecom Group, are pushing Mecom Group to merge with Telegraaf Media, Sky News reported, citing insiders. Mecom declined to comment to Sky News.

Operating loss was EUR 42,076,000 compared to EUR 82,484,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was EUR 27,572,000 compared to EUR 47,254,000 a year ago. The company paid cash dividend of EUR 0.47 per share of EUR 0.25 nominal value for 2011.
