Holland Colours N.V. will be added to Netherlands ASCX AMS Small Cap Index.

Holland Colours N.V. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2012. For the period, the company reported revenue of EUR 35,043,000 compared to EUR 31,966,000 a year ago. Operating result was EUR 3,227,000 compared to EUR 2,502,000 a year ago. Net result was EUR 2,081,000 compared to EUR 1,492,000 a year ago. Net result attributable to shareholders of the company was EUR 2,075,000 or EUR 2.41 per ordinary and diluted share compared to EUR 1,493,000 or EUR 1.74 per ordinary and diluted share a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was EUR 3,467,000 compared to cash flow used in operating activities of EUR 281,000 a year ago. This was mainly caused by the decline in working capital. Capital expenditures, net of disposals were EUR 317,000 compared to EUR 240,000 a year ago. Return on average shareholders' equity was 10.1% compared to 10.8% a year ago. For the second half of the financial year, the company expects sales and results will likely be lower than in the first half of the year, owing specifically to the seasonal trend in the building & construction market.

Holland Colours N.V. announced that per November 1, 2012 Marco Kok will strengthen the organization as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds in that role Jeroen Straathof who -as announced earlier- will leave the company as of Augustus 31, 2012. Mr. Kok is currently CFO for Amefa Holding in Apeldoorn and brings with him a wealth of experience in various financial jobs, amongst others with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philips and Pon. Per the above date Mr. Kok will also act as Controller Division Europe. Paul Karrenbeld, currently Division Director Europe, will take up the new function of Director Global Operations, effective September 1, 2012. In this role he will -among other things- focus on improvements in the areas of operational efficiency, delivery performance and Health, Safety and Environment. Until further notice Rob Harmsen -next to his role as CEO- will act as Division Director Europe.
