Honeywell Aerospace Enters into Licensing Agreement with Tata Power's Strategic Engineering Division to Produce Tactical Advanced Land Inertial Navigator, or Talina in India

Honeywell Aerospace has signed a licensing agreement with Tata Power's Strategic Engineering Division, to enable it to produce Honeywell's Tactical Advanced Land Inertial Navigator, or Talina in India. The Honeywell-patented technology will enable vehicles and artillery to navigate very precisely, even where GPS satellite guidance is not available, to increase troop safety and maximise mission success.

Honeywell Announces Advanced Materials Help Mobile Devices Dissipate Heat to Perform Better

Honeywell announced that its advanced materials are being integrated into the production of tablets and smartphones, helping them stay cool and perform better. Mobile electronics manufacturers are using Honeywell's thermal interface materials (TIMs) to dissipate the intense heat produced by increasingly powerful chips at the heart of these devices. If not managed properly, the heat can lead to performance issues and even cause the devices to stop performing altogether.

Honeywell Announces Haier to Adopt Honeywell's New Low-Global-Warming-Potential Solstice(R) Liquid Blowing Agent in China

Honeywell announced that Haier will adopt Honeywell's new low-global-warming-potential Solstice(R) Liquid Blowing Agent in China to help insulate and increase the energy efficiency of its refrigerators. Blowing agents such as Solstice LBA allow closed-cell polyurethane foam insulation to expand and provide the majority of the foam's excellent insulating properties. Solstice LBA can help home appliance manufacturers achieve an 8-10% energy efficiency improvement compared with cyclopentane, which is widely used as a blowing agent in appliance insulation.
