National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) signed a cooperation agreement with HTC Corporation and the Institute of Information Industry (III) to develop MOOCs - Massive Open Online Courses. Micromax, HTC And Xiaomi Reportedly Interested In Acquiring Plant From Nokia

Micromax Informatics Limited, HTC Corporation (TSEC:2498) and Xiaomi Inc. are eyeing the idle Nokia plant at Sriperumbudur near Chennai from Nokia Corporation (HLSE:NOK1V), reported Business Standard. The report added that experts said that buyers will have to negotiate legal disputes, the lack of a smartphone supply chain and manpower issues. Sources said that the central government was planning to tell Nokia the matter would not be resolved under a bilateral investment protection agreement with Finland because the treaty did not cover taxes.
