Its products comprise grease-proof finish paper for use in the manufacture of bags and paper for foodstuffs; paper for use in flexible food and industrial packaging; paper for high mechanical resistance bags; auto adhesive front sheets; and white publishing and printing offset paper for use in forms, converted paper items, books, and artistic drawings. The company’s products also consist of special laser paper used in roll fed laser printer, and offset pre-printing and subsequent laser printing; offset paper for envelopes for automatic and manual folding; raw and bone colored offset paper for use in publishing; photocopy papers for photocopies, and laser and inkjet printers; and light-weight coated paper for use in printing, publishing, and advertising. In addition, it engages in the manufacture of cellulose fiber; sale of electricity produced through gas and biomass co-generation plants; wholesale of paper and timber; reforestation and forestry activities; promotion of exports; and rental of real estate properties. The company serves publishers, newspaper printers, handlers, transformers, envelope producers, distributors, etc. It has approximately 25,170 hectares of forestry land in Spain, Argentina, and Uruguay; and energy generation capacity of 60 Mw/h. The company was founded in 1935 and is based in San Sebastián, Spain.
