Boris Karatayev, Chief Executive Officer of Irkutsk Power Grid Company JSC OAO told RIA Novosti that the company is in talks to acquire power grid assets in Buryatia, Krasnoyarsk and Altai regions. Karatayev added that Irkutsk Power might acquire three power substations in the Krasnoyarsk by the end of 2012. Karatayev also said that Irktusk Power is in talks to acquire or take into management the distribution of grids of Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Siberia Joint Stock Company.
