The company accepts various deposits products, such as current and savings accounts; and offers business lending, mortgages, consumer lending, cash management, corporate finance, real estate, and lease products. It also provides a range of life and individual life, and health insurance products, as well as offers pension administration and management services under the AZL brand. In addition, the company provides non-life insurance products, including motor, transport, fire, liability, travel, disability, and accident insurance products to retail, self-employed, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and corporate customers through regular and mandated brokers, ING Bank, and direct through the Internet; and corporate owned life insurance products to SMEs and owners, as well as employees of SMEs through independent agents and bancassurance. Further, it offers investment management products and advisory services to retail and institutional customers; and single premium variable annuity products. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. ING Groep N.V. is a subsidiary of Stichting ING Aandelen.

ING Group Appoints Scott Lamoreaux as Director of its Houston Natural Resources Team

The Natural Resources Oil & Gas Group of ING Capital LLC, that is part of ING Group has appointed Scott Lamoreaux as Director. He will be responsible for helping with the continued build-out of ING's portfolio in the domestic upstream energy sector, reporting locally to Charles Hall, Managing Director and regionally to Richard Ennis, Managing Director in New York. Lamoreaux is an energy finance veteran with over 30 years in the energy industry, including operational as well as structured and project finance experience. He joins ING from the Project & Structured Finance Group of Siemens Financial Services Inc., where he led the firm's upstream and midstream finance business in Houston.

ING Bank has appointed Brunon Bartkiewicz as its new chief innovation officer, effective July 1, 2014. In his new role, Brunon will be responsible for driving ING's strategic innovation agenda, developing and promoting innovative ideas and solutions, applying new technologies and delivering speed-to-market of successful ideas. Brunon Bartkiewicz has more than 20 years of experience in banking and was one of the architects of the ING Direct business model within ING. Bartkiewicz is currently CEO Rest of Europe, responsible for ING's operations in France, Italy, Spain as well as Poland, Romania and Turkey. From 2000 until 2004, Brunon was general manager of ING Direct and returned to Poland as CEO of ING Bank Slaski. He has held that function until the end of 2009.
