World Fuel Services Corporation, a fuel logistics company, markets, sells, and distributes aviation, marine, and land fuel products and related services worldwide. It operates through three segments: Aviation, Marine, and Land. The Aviation segment offers fuel and related products and services to commercial airlines, second and third-tier airlines, cargo carriers, regional and low cost carriers, airports, fixed based operators, corporate fleets, fractional operators, private aircraft, military fleets, and to the U.S. and foreign governments. Its aviation related services comprise fuel management, price risk management, arranging ground handling, and dispatch services; and arranging and providing international trip planning, including flight plans, weather reports, and over flight permits. The Marine segment provides fuel, lubricant, and related services to international container and tanker fleets, commercial cruise lines, yachts, and time-charter operators, as well as to the U.S. and foreign governments. Its marine fuel related services include management services for the procurement of fuel, cost control, quality control, and claims management. This segment also offers various services, which consist of fueling of vessels in port and sea, and transportation and delivery of fuel and fuel products. The Land segment offers fuel and related services to petroleum distributors operating in the land transportation market; retail petroleum operators; and industrial, commercial, and government customers, as well as is involved in crude oil marketing activities. Its land related services include management services for the procurement of fuel and price risk management. In addition, the company provides transaction management services, such as card payment solutions and merchant processing services to customers in the aviation, marine, and land transportation industries. World Fuel Services Corporation was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida.

World Fuel Services Corp. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of $11,342.475 million against $10,479.604 million a year ago. Income from operations was $59.812 million against $68.736 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $56.607 million against $63.965 million a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $48.226 million against $51.016 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per common share were $0.68 against $0.71 a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was $10.413 million against $42.780 million a year ago. Capital expenditures were $11.142 million against $11.695 million a year ago. Non-GAAP net income attributable to the company was $57.866 million against $57.510 million a year ago.
