Jamaica Broilers Group Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the production and distribution of poultry, ethanol, animal feeds, and agricultural items in Jamaica. The company’s Best Dressed Foods segment is involved in the sale of processed poultry and other products. Its Hipro-Ace segment sells manufactured feeds, baby chicks, layer pullets, and other farm and household supplies. The company’s Ethanol segment processes and sells fuel grade ethanol. Jamaica Broilers Group Limited also engages in the sale of feed ingredients; distribution of chicken, beef, and fish; importation of protein products; cattle rearing operations; processing of hydrous alcohol into anhydrous ethanol; feed milling activities; and the processing and sale of salted products/pickled products, as well as beef products. In addition, it is involved in fish farming, property rental, electricity generation, co-generation energy supply, and aircraft ownership operations; procurement and distribution of agricultural and industrial supplies; and operation as an ocean freight consolidator and feed sales/retailers of farming equipment and supplies. The company was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in St. Catherine, Jamaica.
