JM AB (publ) reported consolidated and parent earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of SEK 2,698 million compared to SEK 2,987 million a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 288 million compared to SEK 329 million a year ago. Profit before tax was SEK 273 million compared to SEK 316 million a year ago. Net profit was SEK 208 million compared to SEK 227 million a year ago. Net profit for the period is attributable to shareholders of the parent company was SEK 208 million or SEK 2.60 per diluted share compared to SEK 227 million or SEK 2.70 per diluted share a year ago. Cash flow used in operating activities was SEK 309 million compared to cash flow from operating activities of SEK 2 million a year ago. On parent basis, the company reported net sales of SEK 2,036 million compared to SEK 2,220 million a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 268 million compared to SEK 279 million a year ago. Profit before tax was SEK 259 million compared to SEK 277 million a year ago. Net profit was SEK 201 million compared to SEK 204 million a year ago.
JM AB (publ) announced that at its annual general meeting held on April 25, 2013, the shareholders approved to pay a dividend of SEK 6.75 per share. The record date for payment is April 30, 2013. Euroclear Sweden AB will send the dividend on May 6, 2013. The shareholders also elected Eva Nygren and Kaj-Gustaf Bergh as directors and Elisabet Annell Åhlund is not seeking re-election.
JM AB (publ) announced at its AGM held on April 25, 2013, approved to change the limits for the share capital to a minimum of SEK 60,000,000 and a maximum of SEK 240,000,000 and to change the limits for the number of shares to a minimum of 60,000,000 shares and a maximum of 240,000,000 shares. The Annual General Meeting also resolved to amend the Articles of Association so that the Board, to the extent appointed by the Meeting, will consist of a minimum of five and a maximum of nine Directors.
