Ken Holdings Bhd announced the re designation of Dato' Tan Boon Kang as executive chairman from Chairman & Managing Director, with effective from February 28, 2013. Dato' Tan Boon Kang is the founder of the Group. He has been the driving force behind the growth of the Group in all its activities over the past 33 years. He has vast experience in the specialist engineering business and was the pioneer in Malaysia for the infamous soil-nailing system which is now the most widely used method of slope protection. He has contributed significantly in elevating the Group to become one of the more established specialist engineering companies in Malaysia and in Hong Kong. He is instrumental in diversifying the Group’s business into property development and has created a very eminent brand name whilst developing a loyal following amongst property buyers in the Klang Valley.
Ken Holdings Bhd announced the redesignation of Tan Chek Siong as executive managing director from executive director, with effective from February 28, 2013. He joined KHB in October 18, 2004 as special assistant to group managing director. On February 24, 2006, he was appointed as an executive director of KHB. He currently handles and heads the property development, property management and community affairs division of KHB Group.
