The company’s Plant and Infrastructure segment produces and sells cement, chemical, and other industrial plant equipment; power plant equipment; municipal refuse incineration plant equipment; LNG and LPG tanks; shield machines and tunnel-boring machines; and crushing machines. Its Motorcycle and Engine segment offers motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, utility vehicles, personal watercraft, and general-purpose gasoline engines. The company’s Precision Machinery segment produces and sells hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and valves; hydraulic systems for industrial use; hydraulic marine machinery; and industrial robots. In addition, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. produces and sells construction machinery. The company sells its products primarily in Japan and rest of Asia, the United States, and Europe. Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. was founded in 1878 and is headquartered in Kobe, Japan.
