Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC reportedly is seeking to acquire electricity supply companies. Eugenie Romanov, Chief Executive Officer of Rosenergoatom, told the strategy committee of State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM is to consider the proposal to acquire supply companies. The committee is going to consider juridical issues as well as the valuation of supply companies. According to Interfax, Rosenergoatom was negotiating the acquisition of CJSC Integrated Energy Systems 's contrlling stake in Sverdlovenergosbyt, OAO KirovEnergoSbyt, Komi Energy Retail Company Open Joint Stock Company, OAO Udmurt Energy Retail Company, Marienergosbyt Open Joint-Stock Company and OAO Orenburgenergostroyremont in a deal valued at RUB 20 billion
OAO KirovEnergoSbyt announced that on October 17, 2011 it obtained RUB 140 million from Sberbank of Russia under a revolving line of credit with the credit period of 165 days.
