Kenmare Resources plc Reports Interim Management Statement for the Third Quarter of 2014

Kenmare Resources plc reported interim management statement for the third quarter of 2014. For the period, the company reported ilmenite production in third quarter increased 6% to 220,200 tonnes against 208,100 tonnes a year ago. Primary zircon production up 239% to 12,900 tonnes against 3,800 tonnes a year ago. Total shipments of finished products in third quarter increased 24% to 183,200 tonnes against 147,400 tonnes a year ago.

Kenmare in talks with Iluka Resources

Kenmare Resources plc (LSE:KMR) said it is continuing discussions with Iluka Resources Ltd. (ASX:ILU) about a potential merger. Kenmare said the merger talks with Iluka remain at an early stage and there is no certainty that an offer will be made.
