LBI Capital Bhd. proposed amendments to the Articles of Association of the Company mainly to be in line with the amendments in Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad which are to be approved at the Annual General Meeting.

LBI Capital Bhd reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 10,711,000 compared to MYR 7,216,000 a year ago mainly contributed by its Desa Saujana project and its project management revenue. Profit before taxation was MYR 2,925,000 compared to MYR 380,000 a year ago mainly due to higher revenue this year generated from Desa Saujana project and higher profit margin. Profit after taxation was MYR 2,286,000 compared to loss after taxation of MYR 10,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity holders was MYR 2,286,000 or MYR 3.4 per basic and diluted share compared to loss attributable to equity holders of MYR 10,000 or MYR 0.6 per basic and diluted share a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported revenue of MYR 42,022,000 compared to MYR 14,842,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was MYR 9,082,000 compared to MYR 1,608,000 a year ago. Profit after taxation was MYR 6,929,000 compared to MYR 1,016,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity holders was MYR 6,929,000 or MYR 10.3 per basic and diluted share compared to MYR 967,000 or MYR 0.5 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operation activities was MYR 6,419,000 compared to MYR 26,611,000 a year ago. The company expects financial year 2012 to be better than 2011 due to its ongoing development projects.

The board of LBI Capital Bhd announced that, at the board meeting held on August 27, 2012, Dato' Syed MD Amin Bin Syed Jan Aljeffri was appointed as chairman of both the nomination committee and remuneration committee of the company whereas Mr. Khoo Siang Hsi @ Khoo Chen Nan was appointed as member of both the nomination committee and remuneration committee of the company.
