Its Home Entertainment division offers 3D and Smart TV technology in their flat-panel TVs, LED and LCD monitors, home theatre systems, Blu-ray Disc players, audio components, video players, plasma display panels, ultrabooks, professional displays and hospitality TVs, laptops, projectors, car audio systems, and security systems for consumer and commercial markets. This division also provides B2B products, such as digital signage, video conferencing system, and IP security cameras. The company’s Mobile Communications division provides smartphones, and network and other products. Its Home Appliance division offers washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, convection ovens, vacuum cleaners, built-in appliances, water purifiers, and air purifiers. The company’s Air Conditioning & Energy Solution division provides residential air conditioning, system air conditioning, LED lighting solutions, and building management systems. The company was formerly known as GoldStar and changed its name to LG Electronics Inc. in 1995. LG Electronics Inc. was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.

LG Electronics Unveils New Products at Global Innovation Festival Roadshow in Seoul

LG Electronics kicked off the third leg of its global Innovation Festival roadshow in Seoul with a showcase of its newest products aimed at Asian consumers. LG introduced its newest smart TV operating system, webOS, which makes setting up, searching, and viewing content and connecting to other devices are simpler and more intuitive. LG also revealed its latest large capacity, energy conserving home appliances. Interest was high in LG's top-load washing machines with Tub Clean+, which increases water temperature to 60 degrees Celsius to wash dirt and germs from inside the unit. LG's new front-load washing machine reduces wash time to only 59 minutes with its TurboWash technology and removes wrinkles and odors from delicate clothes with TrueSteam. In the kitchen, LG's refrigerators equipped with Inverter Linear Compressor and the double layered Door-in-Door system, which takes energy efficiency and convenience to a whole new level. LG's deluxe Inverter V smart air conditioners can be adjusted to operate under four power consumption options, according to needs and conditions. Artcool Mirror Inverter V air conditioner includes LG's proprietary Voice Mate feature enabling it to respond to vocal commands. Other products featured at InnoFest Asia include LG G Flex, the curved smartphone designed around the human face, as well as the new G Pro 2, G2 mini, L Series III, and the company's first wearable fitness device, Lifeband Touch.

LG Electronics Launches G Flex Handset on Optus' Network

LG Electronics has launched its G Flex handset on Optus' network. The handset features a 6-inch HD curved P-OLED display, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, and features a 3,500 mAh battery. The G Flex also boasts a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and 2.1-megapixel front facing camera. Optus offers the handset for free on a AUD 100 per month My plan or customers can choose a cheaper plan with a handset repayment. The recommended retail price is AUD 799.

LG Electronics' LG G2 Mini Smartphone Now Available in Italy

LG Electronics has announced that its LG G2 Mini smartphone is now available in Italy at a recommended retail price of EUR 299.90. The dual-SIM G2 Mini comes in black, white, red or gold and features a 4.7-inch screen, 2,440mAh battery, quad-core processor and the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It also includes Knock Code, newest feature designed to simplify the powering on and unlocking process.
