The Investment Management segment provides institutional fund management, index fund management, fixed income and liquidity management, solution and liability driven investments, and equity management, as well as equity investment funds. The Protection and Annuities segment provides individual and group protection, individual and bulk purchase annuities, longevity, and general insurance products, as well as savings business products, which include unit linked and index linked savings products, bank based investment accounts, and corporate pension products. This segment is also involved in estate agency and the housing related business conducted through its regulated mortgage network. The Savings segment offers non profit investment bonds; non profit pensions, including self invested personal pensions (SIPPs); ISAs; retail unit trusts; retail platform; and various with-profits products. The US Protection segment offers individual protection and universal life contracts. The Group Capital and Financing segment engages in shareholders’ equity supporting the non profit protection and annuities, and savings businesses.
