Matamec Explorations, Inc. Announces Discovery of Three New Showings on the Zeus Property

Matamec Explorations, Inc. announced the discovery of three new showings (Certitude Nord, Makwa and Pakwa) on the Zeus property. Now the property contains twelve heavy rare earth showings, some of them with Niobium and Tantalum. Highlights of the three new showings are as follows: Certitude Nord showing: Located 2 km north of Certitude showing, has returned a grade as high as 5.36% TREO, 2.21% Y2O3, 9.42% ZrO2 and 4.191% Nb2O5 on grab samples. Manual stripping on Certitude Nord has returned intercepts of 0.24% TREO at 32% HREO/TREO, 0.06% Y2O3 and 1.26% ZrO2 on 11.1m, of 0.31% TREO at 29% HREO/TREO, 0.06% Y2O3 and 0.59% ZrO2 on 0.8m and 0.29% TREO at 46% HREO/TREO, 0.09% Y2O3 and 1.72% ZrO2 on 1.1m. Makwa showing: Located 2.3 km north of Surprise Nord showing, has returned a grade as high as >15.95% TREO, 1.32% Y2O3, 0.24% Dy2O3, 3.13% Nd2O3 and 11.53% ZrO2 on grab samples. Pakwa showing: Located 2.5 km north of Falaise showing, has returned a grade as high as >15.53% TREO, 2.10% Y2O3, 0.25% Dy2O3, 3.0% Nd2O3, 8.59% ZrO2 and 1.53% Nb2O5 on grab samples.

Matamec Explorations, Inc.'s Zeus Property Drilling Results Show Significant High Grade Rare Earth Potential Outside the Kipawa Deposit

Matamec Explorations, Inc. announced that the Zeus property shows significant high grade rare earth potential outside the Kipawa deposit in Temiscaming, Quebec. Company provides 2012 drilling results. Assays results for fifteen (15) drill holes from 2012 diamond drilling campaign on PS zone, a heavy rare earths-Y-Zr showing located at 2.7 km South-East of Kipawa deposit on Zeus property. PS zone drilling: Drilling campaign took place between October 10(th) to 22(nd), 2012 and 1,420 meters were drilled. These diamond drill holes have crosscut typical Kipawa deposit syenite. Syenite has a minimal thickness of 100 meters with a low angle dip like the deposit around 25 to 30 degrees towards SSW. All drill holes show the same Kipawa deposit rare earth minerals as eudialyte, mosandrite and britholite. These fifteen (15) drill holes have been drilled on 5 sections of 3 drill holes each and cover 250 meters along the strike of the syenitic body. Complete results have been received on all assayed intersections. Drill holes show one to three mineralized zones similar to Kipawa deposit zones. The zones thickness can reach 17.25 meters. These zones are open laterally and at depth. The deeper four (4) drill holes have crosscut zones at less than 90 meters vertically and zones are still open. Laterally to the East, the zones are aligned toward PB zone discovered by Unocal in 1990 and to the West, geochemical soil anomalies connect them to the Kipawa deposit.
