MGM Resorts International, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, owns and/or operates casino resorts. The company operates in two segments, Wholly Owned Domestic Resorts and MGM China. Its casino resorts offer gaming, hotel, convention, dining, entertainment, retail, and other resort amenities. The company operates 15 wholly owned resorts in the United States; and the MGM Macau resort and casino in China, as well as develops a gaming resort in Cotai, Macau. It also owns Shadow Creek golf course, Primm Valley Golf Club, and Fallen Oak golf course. The company was formerly known as MGM MIRAGE and changed its name to MGM Resorts International in June 2010. MGM Resorts International was founded in 1986 and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

MGM Resorts International Opens First Italian Restaurant

MGM Resorts International announced that chef Julian Serrano would open his first Italian restaurant at the resort, including an outdoor patio next to the hotel's iconic water feature. The restaurant is expected to open in March and feature small plates. It moves into the space that had been occupied by the restaurant Circo, which closed September 30, 2014.

MGM Resorts International Announces Executive Appointments

MGM Resorts International announced that Eric Fitzgerald has been named General Manager of Circus Circus Las Vegas. Formerly the Senior vice president of Hotel Operations at Excalibur and Luxor, Mr. Fitzgerald joined the company in 2005 as vice president of Hotel Operations at Excalibur. The company also announced the promotion of Ann Hoff to General Manager of Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Ms Hoff's move marks the creation of a new management team at the resort. Ms. Hoff leaves her previous position as vice president of Operations at New York-New York, where she has served since 2005.
