The company’s Mitel NetSolutions segment focuses on delivering a suite of subscription-based telecommunications solutions and services to business customers, including cloud-based/hosted applications, network services, and connectivity. Its services include MiCloud Business and MiCloud Enterprise, a cloud-based service that enables business customers to fulfill their communications requirements without the need to own and maintain a traditional phone system; Mitel Mobile Solutions, which provides business-class 3G and 4G wireless voice, text, and Internet services; and Mitel NetSolutions Voice and Data, which provides businesses with voice and data communication services in the United States. The company’s Other segment sells products and services related to its unified communications solutions. It serves a range of industry vertical markets, including education, government, healthcare, hospitality, and retail. The company sells its products directly, as well as through agents and strategic technology partnerships. Mitel Networks Corporation has strategic alliances with VMware, Inc. and Vidyo, Inc. Mitel Launches Latest Series of SIP Phones, Raising the Bar on Audio Performance While Expanding Customer Choice

Mitel launched its 6800i series of IP business phones at the Enterprise Connect conference in Orlando, Florida. Utilizing open standards based SIP protocol, Mitel's 6800i series phones are designed to offer the broadest interoperability and support both on-premise and hosted services with the best path for businesses migrating to the cloud. This new SIP phone series comes from Mitel's recent merger with Aastra and further expands Mitel's comprehensive offering of business phones and enterprise voice solutions. The latest phones build on the extensive 6700i series feature set, adding high-resolution color displays and GigE interfaces for clearer image and video support. They further enhance the phones' crystal clear audio and speakerphone performance and include a native electronic hook switch (EHS) headset port. With lower power consumption, intelligent Power over Ethernet (PoE) Class reporting and smaller packaging that includes 100% recycled and biodegradable material, the 6800i series is one of the most environmentally friendly family of SIP phones on the market. Mitel's 6800i Series SIP phones provide many of the features that are in demand by today's power users including GigE Ethernet ports to support implementation on high speed networks, phone customization with programmable soft keys and high quality audio. With remarkable HD wideband audio, an enhanced speakerphone and advanced audio processing, the 6800i series delivers crystal clear hands-free conversations. Mitel announced MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS for channel partners seeking to offer business communications solutions via the cloud. MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS is available immediately in the United States and will be rolled out in several international markets throughout 2014. The white label Mitel solution allows channel partners to integrate the MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS services as part of their own customer offering, under their own brand. Powered by Mitel, the solution easily connects employees, partners and customers with flexible communications channels that are designed to boost productivity and amplify collaboration. This includes phone service with business-critical voice quality; chat and telepresence as well as audio and videoconferencing capabilities. The subscription-based UCaaS model allows channel partners to offer advanced unified communications solutions to businesses. MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS is built on Mitel's software-based, cloud-optimized business communications portfolio. Based on a single stream of software, the solution uses one platform that can be deployed via public, private or hybrid cloud to increase flexibility while decreasing overall complexity. This enables channel partners to offer their customers the most flexible cloud options. Further it is tailored to remove implementation obstacles and streamline deployment of Mitel's virtualization solutions.
