It offers a range of deposit instruments, including personal and business checking accounts and savings accounts, interest-bearing negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, money market accounts, and time certificates of deposit. The Bank also engages in a full complement of lending activities, including real estate mortgage, commercial and industrial, real estate construction, as well as agricultural and consumer loans, with particular emphasis on short and medium-term obligations. Its specialized services include cashier's checks, traveler's checks, money orders, and foreign drafts.

A. J. Antongiovanni, President of Mission Bancorp announced that Baynes Bank has been promoted from a Relationship Manager to Vice President, Business Development Officer. Mr. Banks has over thirty years experience as a real estate and business professional in and around Kern County. His last position was Executive Vice President of Operations for Lennar Homebuilders. Baynes worked with TRICOR Title as a County Manager, Coldwell Banker Commercial Group and Royal T Management Company. His new position will include assessing market opportunities and identifying with target markets, fact gathering on customers and prospects, and generating leads for possible sales.
