The company’s Machinery segment invests in, finances, and sells machine tools, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, mining machinery, elevating machinery, ship, and aerospace-related equipment and motor vehicles. Its Chemicals segment invests, develops, and trades basic materials, such as ethylene; and methanol and salt produced from crude oil, natural gas, minerals, plants, marine resources, and others, as well as plastics, electronic materials, food ingredients, fertilizer, and fine chemicals. The company’s Living Essentials segment provides products and services, as well as develops businesses and invests in various fields, including food products and food, textiles, essential supplies, healthcare, distribution, and retail. Mitsubishi Corporation also provides consulting, and system and IT infrastructure integrated services. The company was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

JALUX Inc., Mitsubishi Corporation, and Yoma Development Group Limited Establishes Mc-Jalux Airport Services Co., Ltd. in Myanmar

JALUX Inc. (JALUX), Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), and Yoma Development Group Limited, have signed a concession agreement with Myanmar's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) for the concession to operate Mandalay International Airport for 30 years. Operations are scheduled to commence around March of 2015, based on the concession agreement concluded with DCA. The three companies have established a special purpose company, MC-Jalux Airport Services Co. Ltd. (MJAS) in Myanmar. JALUX and MC each holds 45.5% of MJAS shares, while YOMA holds the remaining 9%. MJAS will undertake the operation, rehabilitation and maintenance of airport facilities, including terminal buildings and runway (excluding air traffic control).

Mitsubishi Corporation declared dividend of ¥40.00 per share for the second quarter end of full year ending March 31, 2015 against ¥30.00 per share last year. Regular dividend is ¥30.00 per share and commemorative dividend is ¥10.00 per share. The company expects year-end dividend of ¥30.00 per share for the year ending March 31, 2015 against ¥38.00 per share last year. Annual dividend is expected to be ¥70.00 per share against ¥68.00 per share last year.
