Mah Sing Group Bhd Appoints Ng Chai Yong as Chief Executive Officer

MAH SING GROUP BERHAD announced the appointment of Ng Chai Yong as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2014. Prior to joining Mah Sing Group Berhad, he was the executive director of FCW Property Management Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of FCW Holdings Berhad. As Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of Mah Sing Group Berhad, he shall be reporting directly to the Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

Mah Sing Seeks Acquisitions

Mah Sing Group Bhd (KLSE:MAHSING) intends to make acquisitions. Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum, Chief Executive Officer of Mah Sing said, "We are continuously looking to acquire more potential landbank to expand our business. Any further acquisition of landbank shall be reviewed and whether the land fits our business model." Mah Sing is always open to talks for potential mergers and acquisitions, although there is no offer on the table at the moment, he added.

Mah Sing Group Bhd, aims to secure MYR 3.6 billion in sales of properties for 2014, surpassing last year's sales performance of MYR 3 billion. In the first quarter ended March 31, 2014, the company achieved approximately MYR 770 million sales.
