Metals Exploration Plc reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for six months ended June 30, 2012. For the period, the company’s loss attributable to equity holders of the parent was £1,547,337 or 0.23 pence per basic and diluted share against £1,742,146 or 0.48 pence per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was £1,034,016 against £1,197,663 a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was £1,795,390 against £2,883,597 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was £4,536,117 against £16,534 a year ago.

Metals Exploration Plc announced that Richard Williams has resigned as a non-executive director of the company and Christopher Whitehouse has been appointed a non-executive director, effective immediately. Whitehouse was nominated as a director by Solomon Capital Limited in accordance with the subscription and shareholders' agreement which completed on April 5, 2011.
