Mensch und Maschine Software SE announced unaudited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 30, 2013. For the quarter, the company’s sales climbed by 27% to EUR 37.45 million against EUR 29.54 million a year ago, with M+M Software contributing EUR 9.16 million against EUR 8.16 million or increased by 12% and the VAR Business contributing EUR 28.29 million against EUR 21.37 million or increased 32%. Operating profit EBITDA before depreciation, amortization, interest and taxes amounted to EUR 2.12 million against EUR 1.72 million or increased 23% from a year ago, for Software and to EUR 1.14 million against EUR 1.62 million a year ago, for the VAR Business. Group EBITDA amounting to EUR 3.25 million against EUR 3.34 million a year ago, nominally came in slightly below previous year. Purely operating, adjusted by the contributions from the sale of Distribution, it rose by a remarkable 69%. Net profit after minority shares amounted to EUR 1.37 million against or 9 cents per share against EUR 1.32 million or 9 cents per share. Operating cash flows, which had been negative during 2012 due to the business model transition with its working capital changes, returned to the black, amounting to EUR 1.30 million against negative EUR 1.32 million a year ago.
Mensch und Maschine Software SE plans an unchanged 20 cents per share dividend payment (tax free) for the fiscal year 2013.
