Carlos Slim, owner of America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:AMX L) has emerged as a potential buyer for Telekom Srbija a.d. owned by Serbian government, Vecernje Novosti reported. According to officials quoted in the report, the asking price for full ownership of Telekom Srbija is €2.5 billion. The Serbian government currently owns a 73.1% stake in the telco, with 20% held by Telekom Serbia itself and the remaining 6.94% held by employees and former employees of the firm. Unnamed operators from the Middle East are also believed to be interested in Telekom Srbija.
America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:AMX L) is reportedly considering to make a cash bid for the remaining 72% stake in Koninklijke KPN N.V. (ENXTAM:KPN), Daily Mail reported. According to the daily, the offer would be for more than €3 per share.
