Mayora Indah PT Reports Earnings Results for the First Half Ended June 2012; Provides Sales Guidance for the Year 2012

Mayora Indah PT reported earnings results for the first half ended June 2012. For the period, the company's reported 29% growth in net sales to IDR 5.44 trillion, compared to IDR 4.21 trillion in the same period last year. Net profits doubled to IDR 336.23 billion versus IDR 153.12 billion in the same period last year. The company was aiming at a 25 to 30% increase in sales by year end of 2012. The company will see its sales rise to somewhere between IDR 11.82 trillion (USD 1.25 billion) and IDR 12.29 trillion for 2012, up from IDR 9.45 trillion in sales last year. The sales increase will be supported by the Idul Fitri holiday, the nation’s peak season, and by the Christmas and New Year holidays in the second half.
