It operates in Business Banking, Personal Banking, Wholesale Banking, NAB Wealth, and NZ Banking segments. Its loan portfolio comprises business loans, including business overdrafts, market rate facility, invoice finance, business options, business markets loans, and insurance premium funding; vehicle and equipment finance; international and domestic trade finance; agribusiness loans; and self-managed superannuation funds. In addition, the company offers insurance products consisting of asset, revenue, ownership, business expenses, income, and employees’ protection products, as well as agricover insurance. Further, it provides business, payment, charge, credit, and access cards; online banking; and payments and merchants solutions. Additionally, the company offers risk management solutions, international trade payment methods, and international banking solutions. It operates approximately 1,750 stores and service centers. The company operates primarily in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. National Australia Bank Limited was founded in 1834 and is based in Docklands, Australia.

National Australia Bank Limited Announces Executive Appointments

National Australia Bank Limited announced that Chief risk officer Renée Roberts has been appointed group executive, enterprise services and transformation at National Australia Bank (NAB) and will shortly return to Melbourne to take up this new role as a member of NAB's executive leadership team. BNZ director of retail, Andy Symons, will be seconded to NAB, where he will develop and deliver a significant project for NAB's global digital strategy. In this new role he will report directly to NAB group CEO Andrew Thorburn.

National Australia Bank Group Announces Executive Changes

National Australia Bank Group Chief Executive Officer Andrew Thorburn announced changes to the NAB Group Executive Leadership team. Mr. Thorburn, who commenced in the role of Group CEO, said the changes, which are subject to regulatory approval, are Ms. Angela Mentis, appointed to the role of Group Executive Business Banking. Angela was previously Executive General Manager of nabBusiness in Business Banking. Mr. Antony Cahill, appointed to the role of Group Executive Product and Markets. Antony was previously Executive General Manager of Lending and Deposits in the Product and Markets team. Mr. David Gall, appointed to the role of Group Chief Risk Officer. David was previously Executive General Manager of Banking and Wealth Solutions in Product and Markets. Mr. Thorburn also announced that Group Chief Risk Officer, Bruce Munro, 61, had decided to retire from NAB after 40 years in banking and that Group Executive Business Banking Joseph Healy and Group Executive Enterprise Services and Transformation Lisa Gray have both decided now is the appropriate time to leave NAB.

NAB Mulls To Sell Non-Core Assets

National Australia Bank Limited (ASX:NAB) is planning to sell its non-core assets. NAB has sold a slice of its British commercial real estate loans portfolio for £625 million. Andrew Thorburn, Chief Executive Officer of NAB, said, said the sale was in line with the NAB's plan to sell non-core assets.
