Northeast Bancorp operates as the bank holding company for Northeast Bank that provides a range of banking and financial services to individual and corporate customers in the United States. Its deposit products consist of demand deposit, NOW, money market, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts. The company also offers ableBanking, an online affinity deposit program. Its loan portfolio comprises one-to four-family residential mortgage loans; multi-family and other commercial real estate loans; commercial business loans, such as term loans, lines of credit, and equipment and receivables financing; consumer loans comprising automobile, boat, and recreational vehicle loans; and residential construction loans. In addition, the company provides brokerage and investment advisory services, as well as telephone banking, Internet banking, Internet bill payment, and remote deposit services. As of January 30, 2014, it operated 10 full-service branches and 7 loan production offices located in western and south-central Maine, southern New Hampshire, and southeastern Massachusetts. The company was founded in 1872 and is headquartered in Lewiston, Maine.
