Namibian Resources plc appointed Michael Solomon and David Johnson as executive directors with effect from May 9, 2013. Michael Solomon has 34 years professional experience as a practicing mining engineer within the mining industry in many commodities including gold, platinum, diamonds and base metals as a mining engineer and mine manager, and some 15 years in the consulting engineering environment as a Senior Mining Engineer with SRK Consulting and Principal Mining Engineer with EL Bateman and The Mineral Corporation. Michael was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Wesizwe Platinum Limited in 2004 and took the company from primary exploration through bankable feasibility study and listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. David Johnson has a banking and investing background having both project and corporate finance experience with HSBC, ABSA Bank, and Decorum Capital Partners, the managers of the New Africa Mining Fund. Currently he is responsible for all investment activities of the J&J Group, being its Chief Investment Officer.

Namibian Resources plc announced that talks are continuing to acquire and finance a company in order to expand its operations. These negotiations should be concluded shortly and an announcement will be made at the appropriate time.

Namibian Resources plc announced unaudited earnings results for the six months ended August 31, 2012. For the period, the company reported turnover of £25,705, operating loss of £177,157, net loss of £177,157 or loss per share of £0.33 compared to turnover of £12,427, operating loss of £167,284, net loss of £167,284 or loss per share of £0.41 for the same period last year. Net cash flow from operating activities of £8,454 million compared to £3,025 million for the same period last year.
