Nestlé Nigeria Plc manufactures, markets, and distributes food products in Nigeria. It operates through two segments, Food and Beverages. The company offers infant formula under the Nestlé NAN and Nestlé LACTOGEN brands; infant cereals under the Nestlé NUTREND and Nestlé CERELAC brands names; family cereals under the Nestlé GOLDEN MORN brand; beverage drinks under the Nestlé MILO brand; confectionery under the Nestlé CHOCOMILO brand; and bouillon under the MAGGI Cube, MAGGI Chicken, MAGGI Crayfish, and MAGGI Mix’py brands. It also provides table water under the Nestlé PURE LIFE brand; coffee under the NESCAFÉ CLASSIC and NESCAFÉ 3-in-1 brands; and full cream milk product under the Nestlé NIDO brand. Nestlé Nigeria Plc also exports its products to other countries in Africa. The company was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Nestlé Nigeria Plc is a subsidiary of Nestlé CWA Limited.

Profit after tax rose by 28% from NGN 16.49 billion to NGN 21.13 billion.

Nestle Nigeria PLC Approves Dividend for the Financial Year Ended December 31, 2012

Nestle Nigeria PLC announced that the shareholders of the company approved the dividend of NGN 18.50 per share declared for the financial year ended December 31, 2012. Directors of Nestle had recommended an interim dividend of NGN 1.50 per share, which had already been paid before the final dividend of NGN 18.50, bringing the total dividend for the year to NGN 20 per share.
