Netcall plc announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended December 31, 2013. For the period, the company reported group revenue increased 3% to £8.43 million from £8.16 million for the same period a year ago, comprising underlying core growth of 9% offset by a continuing decline in the non-core MovieLine service, which continues to generate positive cash flow for the Group. Adjusted EBITDA was £2,477,000 compared to £2,186,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was £1,344,000 compared to £1,295,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit before tax was £1,374,000 compared to £1,340,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period was £1,270,000 or 0.94 pence compared to £1,113,000 or 0.87 pence for the same period a year ago. Cash generated from operations was £1,158,000 compared to £2,229,000 for the same period a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was £88,000 compared to £21,000 for the same period a year ago. Purchases of other intangible assets were £33,000 compared to £1,000 for the same period a year ago. Adjusted earnings per share increased 11% to 1.47 pence compared to 1.32 pence for the same period a year ago.
