Nimble Storage Announces Executive Changes

Nimble Storage announced that Eric Mann will join the company and serve as vice president of worldwide sales. Nimble appoints this seasoned duo of industry veterans to lead an already thriving sales team as the company continues to gain market share and mindshare in the storage industry. Mike Munoz, the current vice president of worldwide sales at Nimble, has been dealing with significant family medical issues for the past few months and has requested a leave of absence. Munoz will maintain leadership of the sales organization through the end of third quarter 2015 and will collaborate with Mann to transition responsibilities at the end of October. Mann joins Nimble from NetApp where for 12 years he served in a range of sales leadership assignments progressively advancing his career and ultimately serving as senior vice president and general manager of Americas sales for the past six years. Parrinello joins Nimble from NetApp where for five years he served as senior director of sales in the Western U.S. region.

Nimble Storage to Expand East Coast Operations in Durham

Nimble Storage has signed a deal in the Imperial Center office park in Durham to expand its East Coast operations. Nimble has leased 47,986 square feet of flex space in the previously vacant Newcastle South building at 1015 Swabia Court, an 86,895 square-foot building that was sold to a joint venture of Grubb Properties and Rubenstein Partners in 2012. The rest of the building space remains available for lease.
