National Retail Properties, Inc. announced unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported total revenues of $105,613,000 compared with $96,295,000 for the same period a year ago. Earnings from continuing operations was $42,512,000 or $0.30 per diluted share compared with $36,100,000 or $0.26 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. Net earnings available to common stockholders was $36,713,000 or $0.30 per diluted share compared with $32,724,000 or $0.27 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. Funds from operations (FFO) available to common stockholders were $61,690,000 or $0.50 per diluted share compared with $54,284,000 or $0.45 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. Recurring FFO available to common shareholders was $61,767,000 or $0.50 per diluted share compared with $54,284,000 or $0.45 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. For the quarter, the company recorded impairment on commercial mortgage residual interests valuation of $77,000. The company revised FFO guidance for the full year of 2014. The company announced an increase in 2014 FFO guidance from a range of $1.95 to $2.00 to a range of $2.00 to $2.04 per share before any impairment expense. 2014 adjusted FFO is estimated to be $2.05 to $2.09 per share. The FFO guidance equates to net earnings before any gains or losses from the sale of real estate of $1.12 to $1.16 per share, plus $0.88 per share of expected real estate depreciation, amortization and impairments.
