Nissan Announces 2015 Altima

Finding the ideal vehicle is something consumers are always striving for. It makes sense, as a new car is one of the biggest purchases that a person has in their life. But if the person is seeking something in the midsize market, the Nissan brand has an offering that makes sense for a large portion of consumers - the Altima. In the Seattle area, one Nissan dealership already has the 2015 Nissan Altima in stock at the dealership. The 2015 version has all of the latest updates, in addition to some of the favorite features that brought people to the vehicle initially. The new Altima is offered with either a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine under the hood. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder allows the car to get up to 38 mpg in highway fuel economy. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine has output of up to 270 horsepower for those looking to get the most performance out of their Altima. No matter which engine option consumers choose, the luxury-grade interior comes standard. As does the technologically advanced features such as Moving Object Detection and the flat-tire assist system. The Altima is also equipped with the NissanConnect system that offers full connectivity and navigation to keep the driver fully aware of their situation.

Nissan Motor Company announced that it is planning to launch its Infiniti brand in India. The company will be assembling its cars in India. Nissan is planning to start assembly operations at Nissan's Chennai factory. The firm is taking this step to tap into the growing appetite of Indians for expensive cars.

Nissan Announces Executive Changes

Nissan has appointed Mark Stout, currently Vice President of Human Resources (HR) in the Americas, to the role of Divisional General Manager, Global Talent Management at Nissan's global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. Andrew Tavi, currently Vice President, Legal and Government Affairs, and General Counsel Americas, will take on additional responsibility for HR across the Americas region and become Vice President, Legal, Government Affairs and HR, and General Counsel, Americas. In his new role, Stout will be responsible for guiding global Nissan talent management activities as well as coordinating with the Renault-Nissan Alliance HR group to nurture a wider global talent pool. Stout joined Nissan in 1989 and has held a number of HR positions of increasing responsibilities. Tavi started his career with Nissan in 2009 after nearly four years of leading Noble International Ltd. as general counsel and ultimately as CEO.
