For the third quarter, the company reported net sales/income from operations of INR 5,044.903 million, compared to INR 4,291.408 million for the same period last year. Profit from operations before other income, finance cost & exceptional items was INR 533.359 million, compared to INR 25.165 million for the same period last year. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 337.017 million, compared to loss from ordinary activities before tax of INR 213.464 million for the same period last year. Net profit for the period was INR 228.017 million or INR 6.32 per basic and diluted share, compared to net loss of INR 145.964 million or INR 4.05 per basic and diluted share for the same period last year. For the nine months, the company reported net sales/income from operations of INR 14,430.442 million, compared to INR 12,206.246 million for the same period last year. Profit from operations before other income, finance cost & exceptional items was INR 1,614.323 million, compared to INR 1,014.443 million for the same period last year. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 861.044 million, compared to loss from ordinary activities before tax of INR 1,804.047 million for the same period last year. Net profit for the period was INR 582.044 million or INR 16.14 per basic and diluted share, compared to net loss of INR 1,218.754 million or INR 33.79 per basic and diluted share for the same period last year.
