NYSE Euronext, Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported net income of $126 million or $0.52 per diluted share compared to net income of $87 million or $0.34 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2012. Total revenues were $963 million against $952 million a year ago. Operating income was $220 million against $196 million a year ago. Net income was $139 million or $0.57 per diluted share against $121 million or $0.47 per diluted share a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $282 million up $20 million, or 8% compared to the first quarter of 2012. The board of directors of the company declared a cash dividend of $0.30 per share for the second quarter of 2013. The second quarter 2013 dividend is payable on June 28, 2013 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on June 14, 2013. The anticipated ex-date will be June 12, 2013.
