OEM International AB announced consolidated and parent unaudited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the consolidated company reported net sales of SEK 417 million compared with SEK 426 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 44 million compared with SEK 54 million for the same period a year ago. Pre-tax profit was SEK 38 million compared with SEK 48 million for the same period a year ago. Profit for the period from continuing operations was SEK 29 million or SEK 1.24 per share compared with SEK 36 million or SEK 1.55 per share for the same period a year ago. Return on equity was 4.1% compared with 5.4% for the same period a year ago. The Group's investments in property, plant and equipment totalled SEK 9 million compared with SEK 13 million for the same period a year ago. Property, machinery and equipment accounted for SEK 8 million compared with SEK 11 million for the same period a year ago. Other intangible assets for SEK 1 million compared with SEK 2 million for the same period a year ago. For the quarter, the parent company reported net sales of SEK 4.9 million compared with SEK 4.7 million for the same period a year ago. Loss after financial items was SEK 6.3 million compared with SEK 5.5 million for the same period a year ago.

The board of directors of OEM International AB proposed to the AGM that a dividend of SEK 3.75 in 2012 per share and establish April 25, 2013 as the record date. If the annual general meeting adopts the proposal, beräknas dividends sent out on April 30, 2013, to those on the avstämnings of the day are recorded in the share register.

OEM International AB announced that Mikael Thörnkvist, MD in OEM Automatic AB, will move to a new position as Vice President /Business Development 1st April in the company. Mikael Thörnkvist will focus his efforts on group future development and be an important person in the company's acquisition projects and organic growth issues.
