Orion Metals Limited announced the granting of exploration permit EPM 18331 by the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines. With the inclusion of EPM 18331, which comprises of 42 sub-blocks (approximately 126 sq km), the Mt Surprise Project tenement holding has increased to over 530 sq km. The area has numerous historic diggings for aluvial tin and tungsten, the geological environment is fertile for griesen and vein/stockwork tin tungsten deposit styles, and the visual alteration of the granites in the region suggests a fertile environment for exploration for granitic or felsic hosted tin/tungsten deposits.

Orion Metals Limited Announces Management Changes

The Board of Orion Metals Limited announced that Mr. Conglin Yue has been appointed Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Yue became a Director and Chairman on 25 July 2012 after a takeover offer from Australia Conglin International Investment Group Pty Ltd. Mr. Yue's appointment follows the resignation of General Manager, Mr. Peng Huang. Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Chris Creagh, has also resigned and his duties will be shared between Executive Director/CFO, Mr. Bin Cai, the Company Secretary, Mr. Bill Lyne, and a new Exploration Manager.
