Panoro Energy Announces Executive Changes

Panoro Energy ASA announced that as part of its continuing efforts to reduce its overhead costs it will close its Oslo office. As a result of this corporate reorganization to improve efficiency, the board of directors of the company has appointed its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Nishant Dighe, as Interim Chief Executive Officer to replace Mr. Jan Kielland. Mr. Jan Kielland will continue as a special advisor to the Board of the company to assist, among other things, in the smooth transition of the company’s headquarters from Oslo to London, where its entire staff will now be based.

Panoro Energy ASA announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company's EBITDA loss was $1.71 million compared with $1.93 million a year ago. Operating loss was $1.77 million compared with $2.1 million a year ago. Loss before tax was $1.92 million compared with $2.55 million a year ago. Loss for the period from continuing operations was $1.92 million or $0.01 per basic and diluted share compared with $2.55 million or $0.01 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net loss was $2.22 million compared with $3.93 million a year ago. Net loss attributable to equity holders of the parent was $2.22 million or $0.01 per basic and diluted share compared with $3.93 million or $0.02 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash flows used in operating activities was $4.2 million compared with net cash flows from operating activities of $3.8 million a year ago. Investment in exploration, production and other assets was $3.2 million. For the nine months, the company's EBITDA loss was $5.53 million compared with $5.87 million a year ago. Operating loss was $5.7 million compared with $7.7 million a year ago. Loss before tax was $9.71 million compared with $25.9 million a year ago. Investment in exploration, production and other assets was $6.4 million compared with $18.4 million a year ago.
