Prime Financial Group Limited reported audited earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2014. For the year, the company reported revenues from ordinary activities was down 14% to AUD 10,401,024. Profit from ordinary activities after tax attributable to members was down 6% to AUD 2,630,074. Net profit for the period attributable to members was down 6% to AUD 2,630,074. Net tangible asset backing per ordinary security was 7.9 cents compared to 8.7 cents a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were 1.8 cents compared to 1.9 cents a year ago. EBIT down 1% to AUD 3.72 million compared to fiscal year 2013. Net profit after tax down 6% to AUD 2.63 million compared to fiscal year 2013. Net debt of AUD 6.1 million at 30 June 2014 up AUD 0.2 million (3%) compared to 30 June 2013. The company announced the final dividend of 0.40 Australian cents per security for the year ended June 30, 2014. The record date for determining entitlements to the dividend is September 30, 2014. Payment date for final dividend is October 28, 2014.

Prime Financial Group and MPR Group Plans to Establish Wealth Management Entity

Prime Financial Group Limited announced that have settled the first investment as part of the expansion plan for combined Accounting & Wealth Management Investments. The investment, in MPR Group, includes a staggered commitment to purchase 20% (commencing with 10%) of the Accounting & Advisory Firm, plus also establish a Wealth Management entity utilising Prime's Client Engagement Model (CEM). This Wealth Management entity will be owned 50% by Prime and 50% by the MPR Group with Prime operating the entity on behalf of both parties. Prime's investment in MPR Group will support their significant growth plans and the Prime team looks forward to assisting to build out their client offering and business under the leadership of MPR Group Managing Director Matt Murphy. The investment in MPR Group is part of Prime's plan to increase the number of combined Accounting & Advisory Investments incorporating Wealth Management JV's.
