Pacifico Minerals Limited Provides an Update on the Diamond Drilling Campaign at the High Grade Berrio Gold Project

Pacifico Minerals Limited provided an update on the diamond drilling campaign at the high grade Berrio Gold Project which commenced in May 2014. The 9-hole drilling program is designed to test beneath known high grade gold zones. Drill targeting of high grade sections defined during underground channel sampling uses an advanced 3D model containing geochemical results, geophysical sections, and geology and structural observations derived from mapping of underground workings to help guide the drilling program. From its current understanding of the mineralisation at Berrio, there is an apparent tendency for gold values to increase with depth. This concept is being tested now, and initial indications in BE14-002 show a well mineralised zone from 199m to 226m along the drill hole and beneath known mineralisation. Multiple other mineralised zones have been encountered in this drill hole, and other drill holes, indicating continuity from near surface to moderate depths across the property. By using HQ3 triple tube technology, core recovery is high and often reaches 100%. Gold mineralisation at Berrio occurs in Cretaceous shales, siltstones and mudstones and is characterised by zones of massive pyrite to stockwork zones of pyrite and quartz. Other mineral assemblages have been observed and their significance is being evaluated.
