Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 232,000 against MYR 274,000 a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was MYR 384,000 against MYR 134,000 a year ago. Purchase of investments was MYR 489,000.

Pacific & Orient Berhad announced special franked dividend of 15.17 sen less 25% income tax and tax exempt dividend of 3.82 sen per ordinary share of MYR 0.50 each for the year ending September 30, 2013. The dividend will be payable on June 25, 2013 with ex-date of June 05, 2013. The share transfer book & register of members will be closed from June 07, 2013 to June 07, 2013 (both dates inclusive) for the purpose of determining the entitlements of dividend.

Pacific & Orient Bhd announced third interim dividend of MYR 0.012 less 25% income tax per ordinary share of MYR 0.50 each. The dividend is payable on May 10, 2013 with ex dividend date April 24, 2013.
