Quantel and Marquis Broadcast Limited announced that the companies have entered into a strategic partnership agreement. The partnership will make it easier for Quantel customers to fully integrate workflows between Quantel systems and third party editing, server and archive platforms. Quantel's recently launched sQ Fileflow application exposes a RESTful API, allowing it to be controlled by the Marquis Medway interoperability engine, enabling third party systems to freely exchange content with Enterprise sQ. Medway is a sophisticated software tool kit delivering a seamless and cost-effective integration between the broadcast content applications. Medway unifies multi-vendor systems by providing technical and operational workflows that optimize and integrate: Media clip and sequence transfers; Media format conversion and transcoding; and Metadata capture and integration.
