R&A Telecommunication Group Berhad proposed amendment to the Articles of Association to be considered at the Annual General Meeting to be held on June 27, 2013.

R&A Telecommunication Group Berhad reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, revenue was MYR 4,192,000 against MYR 9,830,000 a year ago. The low revenue was attributable to the various festive breaks and holidays that dotted the first three months of 2013, which inadvertently slowed down the generation of new work orders by customers. Loss before amortisation, depreciation and finance cost was MYR 2,500,000 against earnings before amortisation, depreciation and finance cost of MYR 494,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was MYR 3,098,000 against profit before tax of MYR 94,000 a year ago. Loss attributable to equity holders of the company was MYR 3,098,000 or 0.35 sen per basic share against profit attributable to equity holders of the company of MYR 94,000 or 0.01 sen per basic share a year ago. Net cash generated from operating activities was MYR 1,764,000 against MYR 4,141,000 a year ago. Purchase of plant and equipment was MYR 699,000 against MYR 696,000 a year ago. Net assets per share attributable to ordinary equity holders of the company were MYR 0.10.

R&A Telecommunication Group Berhad announced the resignation of NESAKUMAR A/L RETNASAMY as Executive Director of the company, effective from May 03, 2013, to pursue other business ventures.
