Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in owning, operating, and managing ships, as well as related shipping activities. It operates in three lines of businesses: Shipper-Owned-Container, Carrier-Owned Container, and Value-Added Logistic Services. The Shipper-Owned-Container business offers space on vessels to container owning customers, including main-line operators, non vessel operating common carriers, ISO tank operators, and other container box owners requiring transportation of their boxes between ports. The Carrier-Owned-Container business manages a container box fleet that is offered directly to exporters and importers to load for transportation in the trading lanes. The Value-Added Logistic Services business provides custom house brokerage and domestic haulage, as well as contract logistics arrangements comprising inventory management, cross country haulage, and multi country supply chain management services. The company is also involved in cargo consolidation and operating activities. In addition, it provides transportation and cargo handling, freight forwarding, and logistics services; and operates as a shipping agent and broker. As of April 16, 2013, the company owned and operated a fleet of 45 vessels. It has operations in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, and other countries in South China Sea.
